Here’s what we’ve been up to in February 2024!
February has been an eventful month for NG Terminal Ltd. And, as you can imagine, we’ve kept ourselves busy rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest players and game-changers in the industry. No surprises there though, is there? Keeping a busy events calendar gives our A-team the chance to connect with partners, share any latest insights, and – of course – showcase our range of exceptional services.
Here’s a recap of what went down last month:
🌴First stop, WMX Americas…
Participating in WMX Americas is a definite highlight and truly valuable opportunity for the team. Held from February 18 to 20 in Miami, WMX allows us to really get in the mix of the North American market. This means the team here NGT Managing Director & Co-Founder Neo Kong, Executive director, Anjla Nawaz and Business Development Manager, Sam Wong are free to spread their wings and discuss all-things-logistics with today’s global industry heavy-weights.
Some of our key takeaways from the event included:
- Discussing how NGT is providing tailor-made customs clearanceservices for our clients worldwide
- Showing off the benefits of Bonded Warehousing – our secure and reliable storage solution
- Exploring the innovations in last mile distributionand how meeting customer needs is critical to our business model
- How the latest innovations in return logistics are transforming our clients’ business operations
It’s safe to say Sam Wongenjoyed the event immensely, adding “it’s all about the people. From industry leaders to passionate professionals that bring us back every year”

⚓Next in the calendar: The NeX Regional Meeting
Held on February 20th, the NeX Regional Meeting brought a huge splash of luxury to proceedings as it was hosted on-board a yacht in Miami Harbour! As one of NeX’s leading members, NGT Managing Director & Co-Founder Neo Kong and Executive director, Anjla Nawazwere on hand to ramp up the fun (and bring some cracking insights of course) helping to further engage fellow members, foster meaningful collaboration and discuss the most pressing trends in the industry.
Here are a couple of highlights from our meet-up on the high seas:
- Cross-border eCommerce and FBA Goods were a HOT topic, allowing us to explore opportunities and challenges in this rapidly growing sector.
- We took a deep-dive into strategies to navigate complex customs regulations and ensure smooth operations.
- Epic food, entertainment, and company – not to mention breath-taking views!
That’s not all Shanshan Chen described the event as “Mini world of logistics, from sourcing to delivery”– which is pretty amazing, don’t you think?
🎩The Retail Supply Chain Logistics Expo topped off our hat-trick of events
It wasn’t only Neo Kong , Anjla Nawaz and Sam Wong enjoyed RSCL this February either, the NGT team were on fire at the Expo (held from February 27 to 28 at ExCel, London) with our General Manager Peter Vasilev and BD Director Shanshan Chenleading the charge.
Co-exhibiting alongside NeX eCommerce , we showcased our leading end-to-end logistics solutions, from customs clearance to final mile delivery. Additionally, NGT was a proud sponsor of IDXfor the event – ensuring, as always, that the industry’s key voices were heard.
Here’s what we enjoyed most about the event:
- Giving attendees a clearer insight into how NGT’s tailored customs clearance services facilitate international trade.
- Discussing the versatile benefits of our secure storage solutions, enabling us to meet varying client needs.
- Demonstrating to businesses how expert management of excise goods, ensures our customers stay compliant and efficient.
