HM Revenue & Customs has announced a new digital service for Alcohol Duty approvals, returns, and payments. This system will make handling Alcohol Duty processes quicker and more straightforward for all alcoholic products. It also helps customers pay the duty they owe without needing to contact HMRC.
While we wait for more details on the new digital service, it’s essential to stay up-to-date with the new Alcohol Duty rates and see if you can benefit from available reliefs to cut your tax bill. If you’re a small producer, use the Small Producer Relief calculator to help work out your duty.
