From 1st May 2025, HMRC is officially ending the Alcohol Duty Stamps Scheme. This means:
·No distinction between stamped and unstamped alcohol – businesses can sell both
·No requirement to remove existing duty stamps from products
·Businesses must continue due diligence to verify product legitimacy
·No new marking scheme is being introduced, but HMRC will continue monitoring for fraud through existing enforcement mechanisms

The The Bonded Warehousekeepers Association (BWA)has shared the latest HM Revenue & Customs guidance on how businesses should adjust. You can read the full update here: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eCZCvzgc
