On 1st May 2024, the Freight Innovation Fund received a £1.8 million boost to help bring innovative technology to the freight sector. This funding is set to decarbonise freight and strengthen the UK supply chain, supporting the government’s plan to grow our economy.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can now access up to £1.8 million in funding to implement automation technology and AI, making the movement of goods and parcels more efficient. This is a significant step towards a greener, smarter logistics industry.
