From 1 April 2025, the European Commission will extend the Import Control System 2 (ICS2) requirements to include Entry Summary Declarations (ENS) for all rail and road shipments into the EU. This means businesses will need to submit information to customs authorities before goods arrive at EU borders.

What does this mean for you?

To keep things running smoothly, you’ll need to:

·Ensure you’re collecting accurate and complete shipment data.
·Update your IT systems and operational processes.
·Make sure your teams have the right training.
·Complete necessary ICS2 system tests ahead of time.

Getting this right is essential for your business and clients—otherwise, shipments could face delays or even be stopped at the border.

At NG Terminal Ltd, we’re already prepared. With deep expertise in European customs procedures and experience in road, rail, air, and sea logistics, we’re here to advise and help you adapt easily and efficiently.
